Ralph M Porzio 91, passed away peacefully in his home on September 13, 2025. Ralph was born on July 17, 1934, to Alessandro and Josephine (Zurlo) Porzio, and was a lifelong resident of Milford, Massachusetts. Ralph was a graduate of Milford High School and served in the United States Army stationed in Korea. Ralph worked for Stop & Shop for 44 years before he retired in June 1996.
Ralph was married to Eleanor (Mussulli) Porzio and recently celebrated his 67th wedding anniversary. He and Ellie were in love for 72 years and were rarely apart from each other. Ralph was a good husband, father and Papa to his family. He was an avid lover of all Boston sports teams and a loyal fan. He was a kind and caring man, and his family will always remember him for the love he showed them through his words of wisdom and his caring actions.
Ralph is survived by his children Lu-Ann Pride, Juan Ortiz, Karen Willingham, Russell Willingham Sr., Ralph Porzio II and Sandy Porzio. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Elysia Pride, Freddie Pride, William Pride, Alex Pride, Amy Wiederholt, Joshua Willingham, Kyle Willingham, Curry Willingham, Caroline Willingham, Kait Willingham, Alex Blais and Olivia Porzio. Ralph is also survived by his great grandchildren, Malakai Rodriguez, Reyna Rodriguez, Keira Willingham, Crosby Willingham and Joshua Pride. Ralph is predeceased by his daughter Sandra Cenedella and her husband Ted Cenedella; and his grandsons Russell Willingham Jr. and JJ Rodriguez.
The funeral will be held Friday, September 19, 2025 at 9 A.M. from the Consigli Ruggerio 46 Water St. Milford MA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 A.M. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 5 East Main St. Milford. The burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Milford. The calling hours will be held Thursday from 4 to 7 P.M.
