Nicholas A. Lucca Jr., 89, of Milford, passed away on October 10, 2024 at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center on Lake Ave in Worcester. He was the Husband of the late Theresa M. (Bartelloni) “Terry” Lucca who passed away in 2022. He was born in Hopedale, son of the late Nicholas A. Lucca Sr. and the late Alda (Caprini) Lucca and lived most of his life in Milford. He was a graduate of the Milford High School class of 1952. He was a Korean War Army veteran.
Nick owned and operated the former Gob Shop in Milford for many years, and was a salesman for the WMRC radio station and also a substitute teacher for the Milford public schools. He was a member of the Milford finance committee for many years and a member of the Italian American War Veterans post 40 in Milford.
He is survived by his son Anthony Lucca and his wife Mary Sheila of Hampstead NH, two grandsons Mark Lucca and Ryan Lucca, one sister Patricia Koloski of Milford.
A calling hour will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 8:30 to 9:30 A.M., at the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St., Milford, Ma. A Mass of Christian will be held at 10 A.M. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 5 East Main St. The burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford.
