Paula J. Consigli of Milford, MA passed peacefully, surrounded by family on September 8, 2024. Paula was the daughter of the late Arthur P. Consigli and Elizabeth (Skelly) Consigli. Paula was a graduate of Milford High School and Mount Ida College where she earned her paralegal degree.
Paula began her career working for the State Attorney General’s Office before beginning an over 30-year career working for the Massachusetts House of Representatives. Presently, she was employed in the Massachusetts House Clerk’s Office and was a member of the American Society of Legislative Clerks and Secretaries. Paula was a proud member of the Milford community where she was born and raised. She was a long time Precinct 1 Town Meeting Member and served as an election poll worker. Additionally, she was a member of the Sacred Heart Women’s Club. Paula was very close to her nieces, nephew and great-nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed summers with them on Cape Cod, traveling, and cheering for them at all of their games and activities. Paula was an avid crafter, teaching for many years at the Community Use Program, and enjoyed sharing her crafts with everyone, especially during the holidays. Paula will be remembered for her devotion to her family and will be missed by many.
Paula is survived by her sister, Patricia Kayser and her husband, Stanley of Westboro, her sister, Katherine Consigli of Milford, and her sister, June Speliotis and her husband, Ted, of Danvers, along with her nieces and nephew: Jason, Pia, Megan, Ashley and their families. Paula is also survived by her five great nieces and nephews, along with multiple extended family members.
The funeral will be held Friday, September 13, 2024 at 9 A.M. from the Consigli Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 A.M. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 5 East Main St. The burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday from 4 to 7 P.M.
