I'll not forget the waft of the freshly baked cookies I'd get just as I was walking past Grant st on my way to the ABBO house.....As a very lucky recipient of Mrs. Abbo's cookies, I had my share and dare I say, she'd also provide me a small doggie bag to take some home. (I'll admit, I never shared them). What a wonderful, wonderful, person and amazing mom to Al, John, and Paul !!! Rest in Peace Mrs. Abbo !!!!
