Joseph P. Cifizzari Jr., 72,

Joseph P. Cifizzari Jr., 72, of Centerville, formerly Milford, passed away November 9, 2023 at the Cape Cod Community Hospital in Hyannis. He was the son of the late Joseph P. Cifizzari Sr. and Pierina (Rosati) Cifizzari and move to Centerville in 1990. He was a graduate of the Milford High School class of 1969.    Mr. Cifizzari retired in 1990 as a self employed builder.          

He is survived by his children, Tara Cifizzari of Attleboro, Catrina Chandler of North Smithfield RI, one brother Anthony Cifizzari and his wife Michelle of Bellingham, one granddaughter Layla Chandler of North Smithfield RI. .

  A Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, November 27, 203 at 10 A.M. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 5 East Main St. Milford MA. The burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

A call hour will be held prior to the funeral Mass from 8:30 to 9:30 A.M. at the Consigli Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. Milford MA.

My sincere sympathy to all of Joe’s family. I recently reminisced about my friends from the 1970’s and our favorite Milford hangout; The Blue Moon Saloon. Joe was a very dear friend and an absolute gentleman!! I am heartbroken to hear of Joe’s passing. I know you and your family are filled with many happy memories, as I am. To my dear old friend since we met in Kindergarten at the Plains School to when we last texted on Thursday of this week, I am shocked and saddened by your untimely passing and I will miss you for sure.
