Lucy M. (DeMaria) Cormier, 96, of Milford, passed away November 15, 2016 at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester. She was the wife of the late Joseph F. Cormier who passed away in 1976. She was born in Milford, daughter of the late Ralph and Angelina (Calzone) DeMaria and was a lifelong Milford resident. She was educated in the Milford schools. She was a communicant of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and a member of the Sacred Heart women’s Club.
Lucy is survived by her daughter, Yvonne Kozlowski of Milford, three brothers, Nicholas DeMaria of Milford, Vincent DeMaria of CA, Angelo DeMaria of Milford, three sisters, Rita Piso and Theresa Lizotte both of Milford, Mary Lamborghini of Providence RI, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son Richard Cormier, one brother Joseph DeMaria and her niece Gina Piso.
The funeral will be held Friday, November 18, 2016 at 9 A.M. from the Consigli Ruggerio Funeral home 46 Water St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 A.M. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 7 East Main St. The burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday from 5 to 7 P.M.
