Ivone A. (Martins) Costa, 81,

Ivone A. (Martins) Costa, 81, of Milford, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016 in the Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Joao Costa who passed away in 1999. She was born in San Paolo Brazil daughter of the late Julio and Petronilha (Pereira) Martins, and moved to Milford in 1970. She was educated in Brazilian schools. While in Brazil she was employed as a telephone operator for Varig Airlines. Mrs. Costa owned and operated a daycare center in Milford for many years. She also was employed in the maintenance department at the Framingham State College and also was employed as an assembler at the former Milford Shoe Company.  
She is survived by her sons, Marcio Costa and his wife Barbara of Leominster, Marcos Costa and his wife Brenda of Clinton, two sisters, Marlene Martins Massari and Eleni Martins Romano both of San Paolo Brazil, six grandchildren, Emma Costa, Kevin Costa, Abigal Costa, Shawn Costa, Briana Costa and Ryan Costa, nieces and nephews. Shew as predeceased by her brothers, Evantuil Martins, Rubens Martins and Claudio Martins.    
The funeral and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the Consigli Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St.
