Joaquim G. Costa, 90
Joaquim Goncalves Da Costa, 90, of Milford, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at the Milford Regional Medical Center. He was the husband of Ana (Rego) Costa of Milford, for 57 years. He was born in Donoes, Portugal son of the late Jose and Urcula (Igreja) Costa and moved to Milford in 1988. Mr. Costa retired in 1995 from the Mazarelli’s Bakery, where he worked as a baker. In addition to his wife he is survived by four sons, Joao Costa, Jorge Costa, Domingos Costa, and Joaquim Costa of Milford, two daughters, Maria Alvar of NJ, and Ana Costa of Milford, one brother, Jose Goncalves Da Costa of Milford, one sister, Maria Pinto of Milford, and 2 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sons, Agostinho and Jose Costa. Visiting hours at the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water St., Milford, will be on Saturday, April 9, 2016, from 4-7PM. His burial will be held in Portugal.
