Hilda J. (Freitas) DeMacedo, 91,

Hilda J. (Freitas) DeMacedo, 91, of Ocala FL, formerly of Milford, Ma, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at The Bridge at Life Center in Ocala FL. She was born in Dighton Ma, daughter of the late Manuel Freitas and the late Maria (Paiva) (Freitas) Reis and her husband the late Manuel Reis. She lived in Milford in many years before moving to Ocala FL in 2002.
Wife of the late Manuel DeMacedo, she was employed for several years as a bench worker at the former Data General Corporation.  
She devoted her life to her family, and is survived by one daughter, Judy Blum and her husband David of Ocala, FL; one sister, Mabel (Joseph) Brescia of New Jersey; one brother, Adrian Reyes of Arizona; 3 grandsons:  Aaron (Melissa) Hoel of FL, Ryan (Marcela) Hoel of FL, and Andrew Hoel of Ohio; one great grandson, Jacob; several nieces and nephews; and a step-family of Blum/Greenslade in Daytona Beach, FL.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son David DeMacedo.
A mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, November 16, 2015 at 10 A.M. at the St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Winter St., Milford at 10:00 AM.  Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
A visiting hour will be held prior to the funeral mass from 8:30 to 9:30 A.M. at the Consigli Ruggerio Funeral Home Inc. 46 Water St. Milford MA

Dear Judy, and Family, I remember visiting Hilda and Manny in their home in Massachusetts with Sharon, Rod, and La Reina, many years ago.Later we shared some time together in Arizona with Adrian. She was a lovely, caring lady. My sympathies to you All.
