Salvatore R. “Terry” Gulino, 94,
Salvatore R. “Terry” Gulino, 94, of Milford, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 19, 2015 He was the beloved husband of Rose (Dias) Gulino for 66 years.
He was a devoted father of Steven Gulino and his wife Maureen, Robert Gulino, Alex Gulino and his wife Mary Jo, and Gary Gulino. Also survived by one brother Joseph Gulino and two sisters Lucy Malia and Ann Francis Hill, sister-in-law Pina Gulino, nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers Frank Gulino, Fortunato, Gulino, Anthony Gulino and Robert Gulino.
Mr. Gulino was born in Milford and graduated from Worcester Trade School. He served in the US Army during World War II and attained the rank of Corporal, in the 207 Combat Engineers. He fought in the battle and campaigns of Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes and Central Europe. He was a member of the World War II Disable Veteran Chapter 6 in Medway, and the Italian American Veterans Post 20 in Milford. Mr. Gulino was employed at the Hodgmen Rubber and Fenwal Corp. He was also a Lieutenant in the Milford Police Auxiliary. Terry loved the Boston Red Sox, motorcycles, traveling, fishing, camping and woodworking.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 9 A.M. from the Consigli Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. Milford MA. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 A.M. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 7 East Main St. Milford MA. The burial will follow with Military Honors in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford MA. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 5 to 8 P.M.
