William L. Simmons, 67,

William L. Simmons, 67, of Hopedale formerly of Milford, passed away December 29, 2014 in his home. He was the husband of the late Lucille (Panorese) Simmons who passed away in 1986. He was born in Milford son of the late Lloyd and Beulah (Walls) Simmons and was a lifelong resident. He was educated in the Milford schools.
Mr. Simmons retired in 2004 from Imperial Chevrolet where he was employed as a mechanic. He owned and operated Bill’s Aamco Station in Milford for many years. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed golfing.
He is survived by his children, Scott M. Simmons and his wife Rachel of Austin TX, Steven W. Simmons of Woonsocket RI, Holli Simmons of Hopedale and one granddaughter Hanah Speroni of Hopedale. He was predeceased by his brother David Simmons.
The funeral will be held Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 9 A.M. from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home Inc. 46 Water St. Milford MA. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 A.M at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 7 East Main St. The burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
Calling hours will be held Friday from 5 to 8 P.M.
