Ermando P. Annantonio, 96, of Hopedale, passed away Thursday, September
25, 2014 at the U. Mass Medical Center in Worcester. He was the husband of the
late Minerva (Watkins) Annantonio of 66 years, whom passed in August.
He was born in Milford, son of the
late Antonio and Filomena (Zurlo) Annantonio, and lived in Milford before
moving to Hopedale where he resided with his wife at the Draper place for the
past 5 years. He was educated in the Milford Schools, and was a World War
II Army Veteran, serving in Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Naples, and Foggia,
Italy.
He retired from the Draper Corp., in
Hopedale, where he had worked as a machinist for many years, and was a member
of the VFW Post 1544, in Milford.
Father of the late Matthew Annantonio,
he was the brother of the late Guerino, Arthur, Danny, and Pasquale
Annantonio , and is survived by one grandchild and one great-grand child,
and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass
of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at 10:30 A.M.
at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 7 East Main St. Milford. Burial will
follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery on Medway Rd. Milford.
The
calling hours will be held Wednesday from 9 to 10 A.M., prior to the funeral
Mass at the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. Milford MA.
