Decoy, you always made me laugh. Whenever I am on Boylston St, I think of the time you jumped on my back and made me give you a piggyback ride to Arlington Street. The world lost a real one - rest in power, bud.

I can’t remember a time that I didn’t know Dan. We went to school together from Kindergarten through graduation. I drove him to school every day of Junior year. We had a lot of classes together over the years and he was always a smart guy who made things look effortless. He loved to laugh and have a good time. Our communication in recent years consisted only of Facebook chats and smiles and waves when I’d pass him out on one of his walks. It’s been apparent over the last few days that he was so greatly loved and is missed by so many. His friendship seemed to know no boundaries. I’m heartbroken at his passing and want to send love and light to all of his family and friends who are feeling his loss. ❤️

Dan will always be remembered by how funny, selfless, kind, and straight forward he was. He would have opened his arms up and hugged anyone that needed it. Dan, wherever you are. I love you. And I hope you have reunited with Samson, sleepy, princess & Mr. Beans. Keep watching over your family & give us all strength to get through this. I can’t wait until we get to play wii bowling & cornhole again. I’ll see you later❤️

Dan came into my life 21 years ago, I thought he was crazy. As time went on I learned this man had the biggest heart of anyone I'd ever met.
I couldn't thank him enough for his selflessness, generosity and time he showed to me and my children in our time of need.
Dan will always hold a very special place in my heart.
I know your on a big comfy couch, with Sampson, Sleepy and Princess.
Rest in peace my dear friend❤️

You were the absolute best uncle to all of us! All the pride, love, thoughtfulness you put into all five of us will never be forgotten. You were the one who kept everyone one together and in touch no matter the distance. Went out of your way to have a close relationship with each of us and know us well. We were all so lucky to have you and we will never forget you. Love you forever, see you later.

My baby brother Danny was my rock. He was for so many people. My Lil bro Tony said it best the other day. He was a real life Peter Pan. Collecting people for his lost boys/girls. If you were gathered up by him, you were his family for life. Because of this (though he had no children of his own) he was a grandfather, a dad, an uncle and a brother to so many. He was the perfect example to love without judgement, listen with understanding, and by far stay honest and forgiving. Now he has left behind by far the biggest example to us all.....life is short.....you may not have tomorrow....so follow his examples in honor of his life. I love you Lil brother. We all love you. We will struggle without you but we will strive to make you proud. Sis

It is with sadness we mourn with the Coye family over the loss of Dan. He was the same age as our kids and our families were close. May you find comfort in the happy memories you had with him over the years. Love, Jim and Kathy Sommerville

It is with heartfelt sorrow and sympathy we mourn with Danny's family having been close friends for many years watching their dear little boy grow up to a responsible man. Having been baptized into the saving name of Jesus Christ he sleeps awaiting the resurrection when our Saviour returns. May he meet Him with joy and gladness.
Love in Christ, Sister Brenda

Danny was one of my oldest and best friends .
From age 14 to 24 we were practically inseparable. Almost every memory of High School had Danny in it. We played on the school’s volleyball team, went on ski trips, double dates, cruised the streets of Milford in the Tonka Toy, we went on trips to Maine with his family, and worked together at Stop and Shop and Holmes Air, we had so much fun together.
Shortly after high school, we lived together in Boston and kept the good times going. Danny loved going out. We would have a blast at clubs, concerts, and sporting events. I’m going to miss reminiscing with him and talking stocks. I’ll be thinking and laughing about our time together for the rest of my life. Rest easy Daniel Micah, I’ll see you later.
