I am very sorry about the loss of Brian. I was at
URI at the same time he was, and we met through our mutual friend, Mark Frankel. Then, since I lived in Lunenburg, and Brian lived in Ashburnham,
I gave him rides home once or twice. We had great
conversations at our lunches at URI and on the rides home.

I remember Brian from our days on the URI Student Senate. As a student leader he was smart, witty and always looking for a way to make the campus a better place for all. He was very inclusive in his leadership style. I learned all I know about Robert's Rules of Order from Brian. I can hear him now saying "Division!" to call for a roll call vote. He will be missed.

I have known Brian since I was a child, and he was a baby. Brian was always willing to help everyone. Just recently, while dealing with his own health issues he offered to help with fund raising to get the W. J. Bresnahan Scouting and Community Center built in Ashburnham, so other children could enjoy scouting like he did. He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him. Our deepest sympathy goes out to Brian's family.
