Helen A. (Nicpon) Kunikowski
Helen A. (Nicpon) Kunikowski, 80, of Bellingham, MA, where she has lived for 3 years, died Wednesday, September 19, 2012 in the Milford Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of Jerome Kunikowski for almost 50 years. She was born in Albany, NY, daughter of the late John and Agnes (Krzynerz) Nicpon, was a long time Albany, NY resident, and was a graduate of Albany High School.
Mrs. Kunikowski retired in 1995 from the State of New York, Department of Social Services. She had also worked for many years as a loan officer at Key Bank in Albany. She adored her grandchildren, loved her cats, and enjoyed camping.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children Jerome E. Kunikowski of Bellingham, and Teresa R. Graceffa and her husband Mark, of Milford, MA, her Brother, Joseph Nicpon of NY, and three grandchildren, Jason, Brady, and Preston Graceffa of Milford, MA. She was predeceased by her sisters, Rose Grabowski and Sr. Mary Cecilia.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of the Americas Church, 283 Central Ave, Albany, NY.
Burial will follow in the Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, 1389 Central Ave., Albany, NY.
Calling hours are Sunday from 3 to 6 P.M. at the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St., Milford, MA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Helen’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718
