Anthony J. Petti Jr., 54, of Mendon formerly of Milford died unexpectedly, Sunday, February 26, 2012 at the U. Mass Medical Center in Worcester Born in Milford, he was the loving son of Anthony J. and Theresa A. (Tomaso) Petti of Milford, and was a 1975 graduate of Milford High School. Tony had worked as a senior carpenter for the last 22 years for the Mass DOT, formerly the Mass Turnpike Authority. He was a former  member of the Italian Vets in Milford, a member of Teamsters Local 127, and enjoyed fishing, golfing, carpentry, cooking, gardening, NASCAR, playing cards, and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife Lisa A. (Valerio) Petti, his son Michael A. Petti, and daughter Jocelyn Ragaini and her companion Evan Jacobs, sisters Teresa M. Petti of Milford, Sandra A. Funk and her husband Robert, of Uxbridge, Maryellen Mellen and her husband Ronnie of Mendon, and Laurie A. Arcudi and her husband Dennis of Mendon, and brother in law Robert Loop of Northbridge. Beloved uncle of Jade and Sesha Loop, Jordan Petti, Leah Steeves, and Anthony and Brianna Arcudi. He also leaves dear friends Michael and Cathy Julian, and his dogs Bella and Ellie. At the family’s request, all services will be private, and are under the care of the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water St., Milford. Contributions in Tony’s memory may be made to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation, 29 Crafts Street, Suite 450, Newton, MA 02458-1287

To my first love of all loves.....I moved to the Cape last year and thought it would be fun to see where you had landed in life and I am so sad to find this news. You were a wonderful man when you came into my life and I know you were very important to your family. I have such fond memories of Laurie and Tess in the kitchen always cooking up something good.. you will be forever remembered and very missed!!
