Lydia was beloved by all generations of her family. She showered them with affection and could always be counted on to be supportive of her friends. She will be remembered as a real lady who, raised her daughters in the warmth of a loving household. They, in turn, have grown up reflecting her image. My wife, Barbara, and I want to extend our deepest sympathy to Lydia's entire family. She will be missed by all.

When ever my mother- in -law came to visit from Portugal (many times) , the first family she asked to visit was Lydia, Dina , Alice and parents when they were still alive. Not only because the parents were neighbors back home but were very good friends as well. I can still remember Lydia’s Dad senhor Artur and my husband playing the accordion in the back yard , poor Ray could not understand much but that did not matter he still had a great time. We had some great visits and lunches together. “ the good old days “ Lydia will be missed by many , she was one of a kind , sweet, kind and beautiful in and out. Had a way of making us feel beautiful too with all the nice haircuts. May you rest in peace my friend, your in our hearts for ever. To everyone in her family, our very deepest sympathy 🙏♥️

I am 73 and graduated with Debbie. When I was very young, my aunt brought me to the beauty shop above the dry cleaners. I loved Lydia. She was so sweet and a beautiful lady. Please accept my sincere sympathy

Debbie, Amy and Denise. I have such great memories of your mom from her highland Street days. Every 6-8 weeks I went with my mom to Highland Street where my mom had her regular haircut and style. I remember her styling my hair for the prom and for my wedding. She was sweet and kind and had beautiful stunning blue eyes. Such a beautiful women inside and out. Rest in Peace Lydia❤️
