Jeanne M. (Schiavo) Consoletti, 91,

Jeanne M. (Schiavo) Consoletti, 91, of Westwood, formerly of Milford, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on January 9, 2023. She will be joining the love of her life John A. Consoletti in eternity. John was her husband of 46 years before his death in 1997. Jeanne was the mother of John M. Consoletti and his wife Pamela of East Falmouth and Anne Consoletti of Westwood. She was the grandmother of Jeff Consoletti and his husband Rob Czechowicz of Los Angeles, Jamie Consoletti of Hopkinton, Julie Consoletti of East Falmouth, and Jayson Schultz of Medford. Born in Milford in 1931, she was the daughter of Antonio and Antonette (Tessicini) Schiavo.

Until recently moving to Westwood to live with her daughter, she lived her entire life in Milford where she graduated from Milford High School in 1948. Jeanne was ahead of her time in that she always worked outside the home and settled into a career in insurance, getting experience at Karl Bright and Jensen Sheehan. She later worked as a teacher’s aide in the Milford Public Schools. Jeanne was a lifelong parishioner of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Milford and was a member of the Sacred Heart Women’s Club. Among Jeanne’s many passions were following the Red Sox, Patriots, decorating, and keeping up with her grandchildren's many activities. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband and spending time with her adopted family, “the Gang.” Her specialty was making cappelletti during the holidays which she always shared with family and her many friends. Along with her parents, Jeanne was predeceased by her brother Arthur Schiavo, sister Lillian Rossetti, and granddaughter Jessica Consoletti. In addition to her children and grandchildren she is survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 8:30AM to 10:30AM at the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water Street, Milford, MA, followed by a funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 5 East Main Street, Milford, MA. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jeanne’s memory may be made to Milford Regional Medical Center or to the charity of your choice.
