Mikey, you are an angel in heaven. Rest in peace! You and Deana were the best part of working at Avery. Everyday you brought laughter and joy. When they closed the plant and we said goodbye, it was so emotional. I still have pictures of our time, thank you my best buddy.

My condolences to the entire Staffier family at this difficult time. I first met Mikey through Alternatives and was in part responsible for his hiring at Avery Dennison. After his first year at Avery, I was invited to an awards dinner sponsored by Alternatives where Mikey received an award for perfect attendance. I was the Safety Mgr at Avery. Mikey never got hurt and could do things on the equipment that some of own employees couldn't do. (i.e. reloading the tape machine). While working on the production line he was under the watchful eyes of two employees Lise Fissette and Deana Puelo who wrote in his notebook every might before he went home from work. Mikey is and will always be a favorite part of my memories while working at Avery. You will be missed Mikey by me and your Avery family as well.
