Ann L. “Anna” (Tumolo) DePaolo, 85, of Milford passed away Sunday June 20, 2021 at the Reservoir Center for Health and Rehabilitation in Marlborough. She was the wife of Peter M. DePaolo for 62 years. She was born in Milford daughter of the late John and Mary (Consoletti) Tumolo and was a lifelong Milford resident. She was a graduate of the Milford High School class of 1953. She was a graduate of the St. Vincent’s Nursing School in Worcester and also received a Bachelor’s of Nursing from Worcester State University. She also attended graduate studies at Harvard University and Boston University.
Ann retired in 1995 from the former Greater Milford Visiting Nurses in Mendon where she was employed as director of nursing.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Mark P. DePaolo of Greenwood IN, Nancy and her husband Richard Maquire of Natick, one sister Josephine Melpignano of Barnstable, four grandchildren, Peter DePaolo, Jennifer DePaolo, Sarah Maguire and David Maguire.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, June 25, 2021 at 11 A.M. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 5 East Main St. Milford. The burial will follow in the parish cemetery. A calling hour will be held prior to the funeral Mass from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. at the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St.
