David E. Larson Sr, 81 of Milford, passed away peacefully on Friday May 31, 2019 at the Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham. He was the loving husband of Linda M. (Ford) Larson for 58 years.
He was born in Milford, son of the late Celestina (DiDonato) Larson and Elmer E. Larson. David attended the Milford Public Schools.
He held many jobs until his early retirement from the Hilton Hotel in Natick in 1985. He spent many summers with his family camping at Winding Brook and at the beach at Misquamicut in Westerly R.I. He enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and Foxwoods, and especially playing Bingo with his wife and friends at the Elks.
In addition to his late wife who recently passed in March, he is survived by his children Michael Larson of Milford, Kimberly and her husband Thomas Patterson of Milford. Three grandchildren Nicholas Patterson, Gage Larson and Paige Trotta, two great- grandchildren Elijah and Eliana Trotta in addition to many nieces and nephews and his brother Richard Larson of Hopedale. He was predeceased by his son David E. Larson Jr and his two brothers Albin and Donald Larson.
A funeral home service will be held Wednesday June 5, 2019 at 12:00 noon at the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water Street in Milford.
The burial will follow in the Vernon Grove Cemetery on Depot Street Milford. Calling hours are Tuesday from 5-8 PM.
