Frank G. DelloRusso, 85,

Frank G. DelloRusso, 85, passed away peacefully at Milford Regional Hospital on November 8, 2018 after a period of declining health. He was born and raised in the Jefferies Point area of East Boston, MA, where he spent most of his life. He later lived in Wakefield and Westford, MA before settling in Milford, MA.

He was the beloved son of the late Gaetano and Angelina (DiPinto) DelloRusso. He is lovingly survived by his wife, Rose (Giorgianni), with whom he shared 54 years of marriage. He was the adored father of three children: Gaetano (Guy) DelloRusso and his wife Rita of Milford, Analisa DelloRusso-White and her husband James of Saugus, and Gina DelloRusso of Milford.  He was also the cherished, and immensely proud grandfather (Nonno) of four:  Anthony White of Merrimack, NH, Marina White of Saugus, MA, and Elena and Diana DelloRusso of Milford, MA.  Frank was predeceased by his brother, Joseph DelloRusso and sister, Mary Maiullo.

Frank was a US Army veteran and medic, having served during the Korean War conflict in the 1950s. Some of his fondest memories were of being stationed in Germany during the war and traveling throughout Europe. He attended Boston Public Schools and retired as an employee of the City of Boston for many years. He was a proud Italian American and East Bostonian. He very much enjoyed Frank Sinatra's music, Italian opera, a cup of coffee with friends, and a delicious seafood meal. Above all else, he was a dedicated, selfless and loving husband, father, and grandfather. Frank's greatest joy was spending time with his children and grandchildren, who will forever miss him deeply. His strength in the face of illness and adversity was truly remarkable.  His warmth, kindness, and wonderful sense humor will be lovingly remembered always.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 10 A.M. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 7 East Main St. The burial will follow in the parish cemetery. There are no calling hours.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Consigli Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. Milford MA.

Guest Book

To Frank's family and friends, please accept my heartfelt condolences on your loss. It's so hard to lose someone we love, but the seeming finality of death is what makes it especially difficult. Job 14:14,15 gives us confidence that Jehovah God yearns to bring back to life the dead who are preserved in his memory. The Bible gives us a wonderful hope of living in a paradise on earth and seeing the resurrection of our dead loved ones. (Luke 23:43; John 5:28,29) May this bring you some comfort and strength, remembering that soon God will wipe away our tears and swallow up death forever. (Isaiah 25:8)
