To Marie's family and friends, please accept my heartfelt condolences on your loss. It's so hard to lose someone we love, but the seeming finality of death is what makes it especially difficult. Job 14:14,15 gives us confidence that Jehovah God yearns to bring back to life the dead who are preserved in his memory. The Bible gives us a wonderful hope of living in a paradise on earth and seeing the resurrection of our dead loved ones. (Luke 23:43; John 5:28,29) May this bring you some comfort and strength, remembering that soon God will wipe away our tears and swallow up death forever. (Isaiah 25:8)

Lucia, I'm sorry for your the loss of your mother. Marie was sweet and so pretty. I know you'll miss her.
Love to you and the family, Linda

My life is richer for having known Marie. I was blessed to have known her for the greater part of my life, and the moments we shared brought warmth, love, smiles, and many laughs. Marie was one in a million. Though she faced many trials in her life, she never hardened her heart. She always looked for the good in others, was incredibly thoughtful, caring, selfless, humble, and honest. Her enthusiasm for life, her energy and her positive outlook was contagious. Instead of staying down she always picked herself up, and with courage and strength she faced another day. She left her mark in my life and I will miss her so very much. Lucia, you were her best friend, her voice, her advocate. You did all you could possibly do to make her life as happy, fulfilled and when she got sick, comfortable. The very one who rocked you at the beginning needed you most at the end, and you were right there through it all. May the memories sustain you and Nicole, and know you now have an angel watching over you.

Marie was a true mother to me. I will always cherish her memory for the love and kindness she brought to me in my lifetime. Marie was so full of energy and always wanting to help others. Even when her life was riddled with hardship and heartbreak she still maintained her compassion for others. She was an angel when on earth with a heart of gold. Marie will be deeply missed but never forgotten. My love for Marie and her daughter, Lucia, who is my best friend is forever.
