Joanne M. Fitzgerald, 82, of Milford, passed away September, 21 2024 at Milford Reginal Medical Center. She was born in Milford, daughter of the late Francis and Alba (Niro) Sears and a life-long resident of Milford. She was educated in the Milford School system. Joanne worked for Porter Shoe Company after school and then was a laborer in the Laborer Union #223 of Boston and helped build the addition to the Milford Hospital in the 1980’s. She loved animals and spent her time volunteering at the Milford Animal Shelter.
She is survived by her children Raymond F. Fitzgerald of Milford, John A. Fitzgerald of Milford, Sheri-Lyn Fitzgerald and her husband, Mark Hall of Whitinsville, her three grandchildren Justine Milosz and her husband, Alex Milosz of Auburn, Tyler Hall and Krista-Lyn Hall both of Whitinsville. She is also survived by her beloved cat Little Guy.
