I remember seeing David often in mass at Sacred Heart Church. Had the opportunity to introduce myself once after mass to tell him about my time with his brother Donald in the music dept. @ Milford High School. David was a calm presence during mass and he will be missed.

I was so very lucky to have gotten to know David over these last 9 months. He truly was a well dressed man who loved going to the coffee shops and chatting with friends. He absolutely adored all of his grandchildren and not one day went by that he didn’t mention one or Laura,David and many others while I was with him. We did become good friends especially in my last days with David. I’m very happy to have met David and his family. Thinking of all of David’s family esp today on what would have been his 82nd birthday. I’m sorry I won’t be able to say goodbye. Rest well my friend. Love, Lisa Phillips
