Joseph R Porazzo 76,

Joseph R Porazzo 76, of Milford passed away on April 22, 2024, after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Mary (Flood) Porazzo.  In addition to his wife, Joseph is survived by his sisters; Mary Howard and nieces and nephews (Michael, Patrick, Tracy and Jessica), Patricia Whiffen and her husband (Herb).  Sister-In-Law Carol Porazzo and nieces and nephews (Sam & Melissa).

He was predeceased in death by his parents Sam and Mary (Tracy) Porazzo; and his brother Sam, Brother-In-Law Charles Howard and Sister-In-Law Madonna (Flood) Donahue. Joseph Attended St. Catherine’s Grammar School and a graduate of Norwood High School and Newbury College. 

Joe, proudly served in the United States Air Force Reserve as a Medical Specialist with honorary discharged with rank of Sergeant.  He had a long and successful career with Digital Equip Corp., Hewlett Packard and after retirement, he was with St Patrick’s Manor and Carmel Terrace. Family would like to thank Salmon Hospice for all their care and support for Joe and special thanks to his niece, Tracy.

A calling hour will be held Saturday April 27, 2024 from 8:30 to 9:30 A.M. at the Consigli Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. Milford. A mass of Christian burial will follow at 10 A.M. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 5 East Main St. The burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.            

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Salmon VNA and Hospice, 37 Birch St, Milford, MA 01757.
